Trick or Treating
Our superheroes had a great time trick-or-treating this year! They were really good about saying "trick or treat" at each door, and didn't want to stop! I didn't take too many pictures because I was so tired from working all day...but here are my superheroes.

In the Halloween spirit
We carved a pumpkin for the first year with the boys and they had a blast. Mike complained about how long it took to carve Cookie Monster though, so we only got one pumpkin carved!

Please excuse the clothes-less boys, but pumpkin carving is messy!

The final product, Cookie Monster:

And a pic of the boys in cute Halloween PJs that Aunt Mandy got them:

Flower Mound Pumpkin patch
We have started a yearly tradition of going to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch with our friends Amie & Andy and their kids Sam & Lyla. It is always a fun time, but again, this year was very muddy and cold. Hoping for better weather next year! I also need to remember to a group picture of everyone, since it's become a tradition!
Again, Brendan in blue and Collin in brown:
Here is the only picture I got of Sam with the boys

Pumpkin patch at the Arboretum
We met some friends at the Dallas Arboretum for fun at their pumpkin patch. Unfortunately it was cold and had been raining for days so it was really muddy. We still had a great time but I came home with two very muddy boys!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Happy Birthday to our THREE year olds!! It's so hard to believe that our babies are already three. You boys have grown up so much over the last year and are such a joy and blessing to our lives.
Here are pics from their birthday party at "Going Bonkers" - which lives up to it's name!

First day of preschool
Today was bittersweet. It was the first day of preschool for the boys. They did SO well, better than I could have imagined. Collin woke up this morning and said, "I get to go school today!!". Brendan was equally excited. Mike was able to go with us to take them to their first day which was really nice. Here they are outside of the school on their first day!

They surprised me with how well they did at drop-off, they didn't even cry!! They are such big boys now and they were totally ready for school. They had an amazing day and had so much fun. They were happy to see me when I picked them up and their teacher said they were a joy - and never cried! Hooray!

I took them out for ice cream to celebrate their first day. They gave me a play by play of everything they did all day. Some of which was "I sang songs - the ABC song and the wheels on the bus song" (Collin) and "A baby girl ate some of my cheese crackers" (Brendan). They truly seemed to love it and are already asking me when they get to go back. :) It makes me so happy to see them loving school, and then a little sad at the same time that they are already big enough to attend school!!!
Edited to add:
I forgot about these pictures that I took when the boys got a letter from their preschool teachers, Ms. Monica and Ms. Tiffany a few weeks before school started.
