Trying to catch the smile

Finley's been smiling for a couple of weeks now (starting around 5 wks) but I am having a really hard time capturing it on the camera or video. As soon as I take the camera out he becomes serious again! I think it's because he can't see my face when I take the pictures...so I must get Mike to take some pictures soon! Here are a few of my attempts at getting him to smile.

Fun at Grandma & Grandpa's

Here are some pictures from the birthday celebration for me and Grandma Engleman. Thanks to Aunt Shelley for the pictures!

The boys always love to "drive" and honk the horn on Grandpa Engleman's golf cart:

After celebrations and cake, Aunt Mandy and Aunt Shelley took Brendan and Collin to Build-a-Bear! They had so much fun creating their own animal. Brendan made a panda bear named "Teddy", and Collin made an owl named "Bob".

Finley, 1 month old

Finley, it's hard to believe that you have been in our lives for one month already! You fit into our family as though you were always meant to be here! But you must stop growing so quickly. Mommy wants you to stay little forever! :)

I am stealing the cute idea from Maria Paula, to take a picture of you every month in the same chair with the same animal. That way we can really tell how much you have grown each month!

My cuties

Just some random cute pictures of my boys.

When I picked the boys up from preschool today they were clowns! I thought it was a pretty cute idea!

Bath time!

Finley LOVES getting a bath!

A trip to the Children's Museum

While Mike was still on paternity leave we took the boys to the Children's Museum at Fair Park. We had taken the boys once before, probably a year or more ago, and they still had just as much fun as the first time. We also visited the Museum of Nature and Science this time as well. They loved all of the dinosaur replicas!
Is it just me, or do they look so "grown up" here? Maybe it's the shorts?

Collin thinks he should have a bike like this at home:
